Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Dinner – Each Thanksgiving the Health Ministry program organizes a dinner for all church members and friends. This tradition was started when it was realized that there are people in our congregation who would be eating dinner alone because they had no family members or friends around for the holiday.  This “church family” dinner is potluck with everyone bringing a dish that reminds them of past Thanksgivings. Conversation is lively, the food is wonderful, and the tasks such as set-up and clean-up are shared just as they would be at home.

Participants: Any individual or family who has a favorite dish to share

Meet: Thanksgiving Day in Farnum Hall at the church – 11:00AM – 2:00 PM
